Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have set the internet ablaze after being photographed sharing a passionate kiss aboard her yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara.
The pictures, captured by paparazzi and published by ‘Daily Mail’, show the pair hugging and laughing.

The 40-year-old “Firework” singer was in a sleek black swimsuit, while Trudeau, 53, went shirtless in jeans. Witnesses said the two didn’t seem to care who was watching as they kissed on the upper deck of Perry’s 24-metre yacht, ‘Caravelle’.

“She pulled up her boat next to a small whale-watching vessel, and they started making out,” one onlooker told the outlet. “At first, I didn’t realise who the guy was. But then I spotted his tattoo, that Haida raven on his arm, and I immediately knew it was Justin Trudeau.”
The tattoo, a tribute to the Indigenous Haida people of Canada, has long been one of Trudeau’s most recognisable features.
The rumours of a Perry-Trudeau romance first began swirling in July. Then the two had dinner together at Le Violon, an upscale restaurant in Montreal. The singer was in Canada kicking off her ‘Lifetime’s World Tour’, while Trudeau had been keeping a low profile following his split from ex-wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023.
According to restaurant staff, the pair appeared completely engrossed in their conversation, often leaning in close across the table. “There was no PDA, but the chemistry was definitely there,” chef Danny Smiles later said. After their meal, they even visited the kitchen to personally thank the chefs.
Earlier that same day, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were reportedly walking together through Mount Royal Park. Witnesses described them as “smiling and chatting like old friends.”
