A mock drill for the flag hoisting was conducted on Tuesday. Misra said, “PM Narendra Modi will participate in the Ram Temple flag hoisting event on November 25. We have started preparations, including the color, size, and other details of the flag, as it will mark the completion of this grand construction. Yesterday, we conducted a mock drill for flag hoisting.”
Earlier on August 19, 2025, authorities had announced the construction of a new “Hanumat Path” corridor to ease crowd movement between the Ram Temple and Hanuman Garhi. The Committee had confirmed in August that the grand temple will be completed by December this year.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Hanuman Garhi Temple management, and the district administration have jointly approved the “Hanumat Path” to address the persistent congestion faced by devotees traveling between the two key shrines.
Once completed, devotees will be able to move directly between the temples without relying on the busy Ram Path, reducing traffic restrictions and creating new avenues of local employment through shops along the corridor.
The progress on Ram Mandir construction and the development of the Hanumat Path corridor will make the pilgrim journey in Ayodhya smoother, safer, and spiritually enriching, while also boosting local commerce and tourism.
The construction journey is being documented via five time-lapse cameras, with the footage to be preserved as intellectual property for educational use and for creating a historic documentary.
