The Rajasthan government will soon open foreign language schools in the state to enable youths to acquire scientific knowledge and proficiency in international languages, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said here on Sunday.

Addressing participants at the inauguration of the 9th national convention of the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh at Keshav Vidhya Peeth, Sharma said, “These schools will teach foreign languages and shed light on scientific knowledge and literature, besides conducting proficiency examinations in the respective foreign languages.

These language courses and successfully qualifying the proficiency examinations will help the youths of the state secure lucrative employment abroad, the Chief Minister said.

Sharma rounded off by highlighting his government’s achievements in implementing reforms in the conduct of examinations, the education system, the curriculum, and the regularity of academic activities.

He said, “Our government has played a historic role in bringing transparency to the examination system and in implementing the National Education Policy (NEP). The NEP stresses on inculcating nationalism and moral values in young citizens.

CM Sharma said that in pursuit of the mantra of Antyodaya propounded by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the state government has implemented several initiatives to support talented toppers, students from weaker sections, girls, and divyaangs.

In this connection, the government has distributed bicycles to 10.51 lakh students and tablets with free internet connection to 88,724 students.

This will equip our youths and make them capable, the CM said.

He also lauded the Shaikshik Mahasangh’s role and contribution in inculcating a sense of nationalism, moral values, and character among students.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr Prem Chand Bairwa and Education Minister Madan Dilawar also spoke on the occasion.
