A fan reportedly collapsed during Amitabh Bachchan’s Sunday darshan outside Jalsa in Mumbai as soaring heat and overcrowding briefly turned the gathering chaotic.

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is all ready to take fans down memory lane with a special moment on the upcoming episode of the popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The 82-year-old superstar will be recreating a classic scene from his 1973 blockbuster ‘Zanjeer’, alongside veteran writer Javed Akhtar and his son, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.
A promo released by Sony Entertainment Television on Instagram shows Amitabh on the iconic hotseat with Javed and Farhan.

The megastar is delivering one of ‘Zanjeer’’s most famous lines: “Jab tak baithne ko na kaha jaaye, sharafat se khade raho. Yeh police station hai; tumhare baap ka ghar nahi.”

‘Zanjeer’, directed and produced by Prakash Mehra and written by the iconic duo Salim-Javed, remains one of the most significant films in Indian cinema. Alongside Amitabh, it starred Jaya Bhaduri, Pran, Ajit Khan, and Bindu.
The film marked the beginning of a long-lasting collaboration between Salim-Javed and Big B. This led to many more hits like ‘Deewaar’ and ‘Sholay’.
The story revolves around Inspector Vijay, a determined officer suspended from duty, who sets out to solve his parents’ murder. With the help of a street-smart girl and a former enemy who becomes an ally, Vijay seeks justice and revenge.
‘Zanjeer’’s legacy continues even today. In 2013, the film had a remake in Hindi and Telugu (titled ‘Thoofan’), starring Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan. The remake also featured actors like Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, and Mahie Gill.
