Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday took to social media to extend birthday wishes to Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, praising his efforts to promote Indian culture and tourism.
“Birthday wishes to Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Ji, who is making extensive efforts to make India a hub for tourism and at the same time working towards popularising Indian culture. Praying for his long and healthy life,” PM Modi said in a post on X.

As Union Culture and Tourism Minister, Shekhawat has been working to preserve and promote India’s rich cultural heritage, including granting classical language status to languages such as Marathi, Pali, Prakrit, Assamese, and Bengali.
