There is a mystery behind the complaint filed by sponsor Unnikrishnan Potty that the pedestal is missing. The pedestal was initially kept in the house of an employee of Potty, named Vasudevan . It has been in the living room of his house since 2021.
After the Kerala High Court intervened in the alleged loss of gold from Sabarimala Dwarapalaka idols, he handed over the pedestal back to Unnikrishnan Potty. Then, Unnikrishnan Potty reportedly moved the pedestal to his sister’s house on September 13.
