Fadnavis emphasized the government’s focus on implementing a loan waiver for farmers, as promised in the BJP manifesto. A committee has been set up to decide on the loan waiver, with a focus on making it more effective.

The Maharashtra CM also discussed Defence Corridor projects in the state, presenting a detailed proposal for three corridors: Pune-Ahilyanagar-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Amravati-Wardha-Nagpur-Savner, and Nashik-Dhule.

Fadnavis also requested the Prime Minister to transfer a 58-acre land parcel in Dahisar East, owned by the Airports Authority of India, to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for public use and developmental works.

The meeting between Fadnavis and PM Modi comes after the recent heavy rains in Maharashtra, which have caused significant damage to crops and infrastructure. The state government is working to provide relief to affected farmers and communities. In December 2024, Fadnavis had met PM Modi, vowing to take Maharashtra to the next level of development under his guidance.
