The Ministry of Minority Affairs organised Swachhata Hi Seva (Cleanliness is Service) Campaign 2025 at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in the presence of Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju.
Rijiju stressed the importance of Swachhta during his address at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Park after administering Swachhata Pledge and participation in Cleanliness drive.

The Union minister said Swachhata Pakhwada would be held till October 2, starting from September 17; Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

He further said the Prime Minister’s Vision of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas can only be realised through welfare and infrastructure development of the Minorities for which Ministry of Minority Affairs is doing its consistent efforts through various schemes like Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) scheme, Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK), etc.
On the occasion, Rijiju appreciated the efforts of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) to achieve the prime minister’s vision and said that committee is doing commendable efforts for skill development of youths.
