After a search, the police got their hands on cocaine weighing 54 grams and 31 grams from Kadir and Wadhwa.

“The duo told investigators that the cocaine had been supplied by Zudo, describing him as the mastermind behind the Delhi-NCR racket,” the officer added.

“Acting on the specific inputs, the police conducted raids in Mehrauli on Wednesday and arrested Zudo and recovered 109 grams of cocaine from his possession,” the officer said.

According to the police, Zudo came to India for treatment in January 2023 but later began trafficking cocaine across Delhi, Gurugram, Meerut, Chandigarh, and Haldwani, emerging as the syndicate’s kingpin. “Kadir, a former taxi driver, was drawn into the drug trade by Zudo with the promise of ₹1,000 per delivery. He later roped in Wadhwa, also a former taxi driver, into the racket.”

The officer said none of the accused have a prior crime record. Efforts are underway to trace the wider network, its financial trail, and possible international links.
