The Indian Army is commemorating the 60th anniversary of the historic victory in the Indo-Pak War of 1965. The Diamond Jubilee celebrations honour the bravery, valour, and supreme sacrifices of the soldiers who defended the nation with unwavering courage.

According to an official statement, to mark the occasion, an exclusive weapons and equipment display will be organised on 12th and 13th September at Tiranga Urban Park, Sector 17, Chandigarh.

Visitors will have a rare opportunity to witness the legacy of the Indian Army’s operational excellence alongside its state-of-the-art equipment.

Some of the newly inducted ‘Made in India’ systems will be showcased for the first time. In addition, simulators of various weapon systems will be available, allowing citizens to experience their functioning firsthand. As the Western Command proudly reaffirms: “Ever Westwards… Ever Victorious.”
