Under the lights of ‘Bigg Boss 19’s’ Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan once again reminded everyone why he is one of the most unpredictable stars of Bollywood.
The moment came when Shehnaaz Gill, former contestant and now a rising star, walked onto the stage with a heartfelt request. She was there to introduce her brother Shehbaz Badesha as the newest wild card entry, but before that, she couldn’t resist saying what millions of fans often believe: “You’ve built so many people’s careers.”

That one line sparked a response from Salman Khan that was sharp, and a little unexpected.
“Main ne kahan banaye kisi ke career? Career banane wala uparwala hai. Mujh par toh ilzaam bhi laga hai ki kitno ke career duba diye. (I haven’t built anyone’s career. The one above decides that. In fact, I’ve been accused of ruining people’s careers too.)”
He didn’t stop there. Salman added: “Sab bolte hain na ki career kha jaayega. Kaunsa career khaaya maine? Aur agar kabhi khaya toh apna khud ka career khaunga. (People say I’ll ‘eat up careers.’ Which career have I eaten? If I do, it’ll only be my own.)”
This candid statement comes from a man who has often been accused of being both the godfather and the villain of Bollywood. For years, rumours have swirled around him “launching” actors or “blocking” others.
Shehnaaz Gill, who once ruled hearts inside the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ house, is herself an example of how opportunities and timing matter. She made her Bollywood debut last year in Salman’s film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. The movie, a remake of the Tamil hit ‘Veeram’, starred Salman alongside Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh.
Meanwhile, ‘Bigg Boss 19’ continues to keep viewers hooked. The house this year is buzzing with names like Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Awez Darbar, Ashnoor Kaur, Mridul Tiwari, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Nehal Chudasama, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, and Neelam Giri.
