Inspector Zende (Netflix) on September 5

Manoj Bajpayee is back, this time in a quirky yet intense role. ‘Inspector Zende’ is a Hindi comedy-thriller directed by Chinmay Mandlekar and produced by Jay Shewakramani and Om Raut. Bajpayee plays Inspector Madhukar Zende, while Jim Sarbh steps into the shoes of Carl Bhojraj, a character inspired by the notorious serial killer Charles Sobhraj.

Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 (Netflix) on September 3

After becoming one of Netflix’s biggest hits in 2022, ‘Wednesday’ made a grand return with Season 2. The first four episodes of Season 2, released on August 6, left fans with many unanswered questions. Now, the wait for the remaining episodes is finally over.

Part 2, featuring episodes five to eight, will premiere on September 3. Starring Jenna Ortega as the sharp and mysterious Wednesday Addams, the series continues to explore the strange world of Nevermore Academy while blending dark comedy, supernatural twists, and teen drama.

Maalik (Prime Video) on September 5

If you missed Rajkummar Rao’s latest film in theatres, here’s your chance to catch it online. ‘Maalik’, directed by Pulkit, is an action thriller that also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Manushi Chhillar. Released in cinemas back in July, the film received mixed reviews but was appreciated for its gripping storyline and Rao’s powerful acting.

The movie follows the journey of Maalik, a man who finds himself battling both external enemies and his own moral struggles. The film will be available for streaming from September 5 on Prime Video.

Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan (ZEE5) on September 5

This one is for the romance lovers. ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’ is adapted from Ruskin Bond’s short story ‘The Eyes Have It’. Directed by Santosh Singh and written by Mansi Bagla, the film tells the tale of two strangers whose lives connect in unexpected ways.

Vikrant Massey plays a visually impaired musician, bringing sensitivity and depth to his role. The film also introduces Shanaya Kapoor in her acting debut, playing a theater artist. It streams on September 5 on ZEE5.

Ghaati (Prime Video) on September 5

Telugu superstar Anushka Shetty headlines ‘Ghaati’, an action-crime drama directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film revolves around a woman who unknowingly becomes a part of a drug trafficking racket. As she fights back, the story not only delivers thrills but also highlights the darker realities hidden within society.

Streaming begins on September 5 on Prime Video.

Rise and Fall (MX Player)

Business personality Ashneer Grover is going to host a new reality show called ‘Rise and Fall’, streaming on MX Player from September 6. The show will follow contestants as they face tough challenges that can quickly change their fortunes. Some will climb higher while others will face setbacks.
