The home of BTS star Jungkook has once again become the target of an unwanted visitor and trespassing. Seoul police confirmed to the local media that a woman in her 40s was arrested late Saturday night after sneaking into the singer’s apartment complex.

According to officials at Yongsan Police Station, the woman managed to slip into the underground parking lot of the building around 11:20 p.m. She reportedly entered by closely following another vehicle, bypassing the security gate.

A vigilant security guard, monitoring surveillance cameras, noticed her suspicious movement and quickly contacted the police.

When officers confronted her, the woman allegedly gave confusing answers, insisting she was there to “visit a friend.”

Investigators are now trying to figure out her real reason for entering the property.

This is not the first time the star’s residence has faced such a situation. Just a few months ago, in June, another trespassing case at the home of Jungkook made headlines. On that occasion, a Chinese woman in her 30s was caught trying to access the building right after Jungkook completed his mandatory military service.

Reports say she attempted to punch in the door code to get inside. She was detained on the spot. She later admitted she had traveled all the way to Korea just to meet the global star. Police confirmed that her case has already been sent to prosecutors.

In 2021 South Korea introduced a stricter anti-stalking law to curb these actions. If you stalk or trespass, you can face up to three years in prison. Or, there can be fines reaching 30 million won (about $21,000).

In more serious cases, where dangerous items or weapons are involved, the punishment can go up to five years in jail or fines of 50 million won.
