Imagine being a Bollywood star and still being told your account is “fake”! That’s exactly what happened to actress Shraddha Kapoor when she tried to make her professional debut on LinkedIn.
On Saturday night, the ‘Stree’ actress took to Instagram to share her confusion. She wrote a note tagging LinkedIn, saying that even though her profile was premium and verified, she couldn’t use it because the platform believed it was fake.

“I want to share my entrepreneurial journey, but getting an account itself has become a journey,” she said in her post.
However, the issue didn’t last long. Shraddha Kapoor later updated fans through her Instagram stories, happily revealing that the LinkedIn team fixed everything within an hour, and that too on a Saturday night.
With the problem solved, she is now officially on the platform and ready to connect with professionals.
The actress has been branching out beyond films. In 2022, she co-founded a jewellery brand called ‘Palmonas’. She also serves as its brand ambassador. The brand grabbed attention when it was featured on ‘Shark Tank India’ and even secured an investment of ₹1.26 crore from Namita Thapar and Ritesh Aggarwal.
Her acting career is equally packed. She has teamed up with director Laxman Utekar, known for ‘Chhavaa’, for an upcoming period drama. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the project is likely to begin shooting in November and may release in 2026.
There’s more. Shraddha has signed a multi-film deal with producer Ektaa Kapoor. Buzz in the industry suggests that one of these projects will reunite her with Aditya Roy Kapoor, her co-star from the much-loved ‘Aashiqui 2’.
Shraddha will also be working with ‘Tumbbad’ director Rahi Anil Barve on a new drama, which is currently untitled.
