Acting under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s zero-tolerance policy against crime and criminals, and following directives to curb land mafias, Aligarh Police have seized illegal properties worth approximately ₹33 crore.
As per the instructions of Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna, and under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police, Aligarh, the Tappal Police carried out a successful operation against land mafia networks operating in the region.

During the drive, individuals involved in fraudulent land dealings—causing both financial and physical harm to the public—were found to be illegally occupying land. Authorities, invoking Section 107 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), seized 15,200 square meters of land valued at over ₹33 crore.
In addition, a Toyota Harrier XZA+ vehicle (Registration No. DL3CCY2929), worth about ₹16 lakh, was also confiscated.
