A two-day Faculty Development Program on ‘Shaping the Future of Management Education Through Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation and Strategic Intelligence’ was held at Odisha’s Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) here recently.

Organised by the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), SOA’s faculty of management sciences on August 7 and 8, the event aimed to equip the faculty members with emerging tools and strategies for integrating AI, Machine Learning and Strategic Intelligence into management education.

The resource persons included Dr. Amritanshu Panigrahi of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), SOA’s faculty of engineering and technology, who spoke on Transformational Intelligence: A Strategic and Multidisciplinary Approach for the Digital Future.

Dr. Abhilash Pati of the same department delivered a lecture on Machine Learning and Explainable AI (XAI) for Management Studies.

Prof. Ayasa Kanta Mohanty, Dean of IBCS and Prof. Manoranjan Dash, Associate Dean of the institute, highlighted the growing importance of technology driven education. Dr. Preeti Y. Shadangi, FDP Coordinator, who coordinated the sessions, proposed the vote of thanks.

The program featured interactive discussions, knowledge sharing and actionable insights empowering the faculty to adopt innovative approaches in teaching and research.
