Jessica Hines and Aamir Khan: Faissal revives old ‘Stardust’ story of secret child Jaan

Stardust once whispered about the son of Jessica Hines and Aamir Khan. Years later, Faissal Khan has shouted it aloud.

Actor Faissal Khan, younger brother of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has stirred up an old storm that refuses to die down. At a recent press conference, Faissal claimed that Aamir Khan had a secret affair with British journalist Jessica Hines during his marriage to Reena Dutta, and that the relationship led to the birth of a child outside marriage.

Speaking to the media, Faissal Khan alleged that while Aamir was still tied up in his personal relationships, he was also involved with Jessica Hines.

“Aamir ka shadi hua tha, divorce ho gaya Reena ke saath… Aur fir uska relation tha Jessica Hines ke sath, jiska, unka illegal bachcha bhi hai… out of wedlock,” Faissal declared.

He further added that Aamir was living with Kiran Rao during this phase, painting a picture of overlapping personal chapters in the actor’s life.

Jessica Hines is not an unfamiliar name to the Indian film world. A journalist and writer from the UK, she came to India in the late 1990s while working on Amitabh Bachchan’s biography. It was around this time, reports claimed, that she met Aamir during the making of the film ‘Ghulam’.

In 2005, Stardust magazine carried an explosive story alleging that the two had lived together for a while. According to the report, Jessica became pregnant during their relationship. While Aamir allegedly wanted her to terminate the pregnancy, Jessica chose to go ahead and later gave birth to a son named Jaan in the early 2000s.

By 2007, Jessica had moved on with her life. She married London-based businessman William Talbot, who, in her own words in a ‘Times of India’ interview, has been “very supportive and protective” of Jaan, especially during the years she worked in India.

The story, however, has never really disappeared. Every few years, whispers resurface, particularly on social media. Photos of Jessica’s son Jaan, who has even been featured in British ‘Vogue’, found their way to Reddit, where users immediately pointed out a striking resemblance to Aamir Khan.

Online discussions quickly revisited the old Stardust claims, fueling speculation that refuses to fade away.
