In what appears to be a remarkable shift towards tech-led property transactions, Mohali-based real estate marketplace MrProptek, founded by 23-year-old tech prodigy Aagman Bhatia, has recorded property sales worth over ₹30 crore in July 2025, most of it from residential projects in Mohali.

An alumnus of Plaksha University with a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Aagman serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer (CPO) of MrProptek. The platform’s immersive virtual walkthroughs and AI-powered comparison tools are redefining buyer behaviour.

“Nearly 40% of our buyers booked homes without a single site visit, relying solely on our digital features,” claimed Aagman.

Adding to the trend, only 30% of buyers engaged in price negotiations, according to MrProptek CEO KS Bhatia. “This reflects our transparent pricing and the strong trust customers have in our system.

Currently hosting ₹3,000 crore-plus worth of listings, MrProptek is aiming for ₹5,000 crore in listed inventory in the coming days and ₹75 crore in sales for August.

Aagman inherits a legacy of innovation from his father, KS Bhatia, founder of Pumpkart, India’s first online pump store, which gained global recognition when Google CEO Sundar Pichai lauded it at the 2015 Digital India Summit in Silicon Valley attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
