The Election Commission of India has received a total of 1,60,813 claims and objections from political parties regarding the draft electoral rolls in Bihar, as part of the Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2025. The claims and objections were received from August 1st (3 PM) to August 6th (9 AM).
As of 9 AM today, 160,813 claims and objections were received, with the Bharatiya Janata Party submitting the highest number of claims at 53,338, followed by the Indian National Congress with 17,549 claims, the ECI said Wednesday in its daily press bulletin.

Aam Aadmi Party: 1; Bahujan Samaj Party: 74; Communist Party of India (Marxist): 899; National People’s Party: 7; Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation): 1,496; Janata Dal (United): 36,550; Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas): 1,210; Rashtriya Janata Dal: 47,506; Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party: 1,913; and Rashtriya Lok Samta Party: 270.
