Gupta stated that the new hospital would not only benefit the people of Delhi but also represent a significant step toward realizing the vision of transforming the capital into a healthcare hub.

Criticizing previous administrations for neglecting public healthcare infrastructure, the Chief Minister said her government is working on a priority basis to complete 24 long-pending hospital projects that had been ignored for years.

“It is our firm resolve to transform Delhi into a medical hub where every citizen has access to excellent doctors, cutting-edge technology, affordable treatment, and world-class trauma care,” she added.

Gupta also emphasized that the government is modernizing hospitals with new technology and advanced equipment to strengthen the city’s healthcare infrastructure.

She informed the gathering about newly installed devices in government hospitals that can detect DNA from just a drop of blood. These will enhance the quality of blood donations and facilitate the early diagnosis of serious diseases.
