Twenty railway employees, including two officers, superannuated from service from Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway with railway authorities bidding them a fitting farewell in a function held at the Divisional Headquarters.

The event was graced by Pradeep Kumar Behra, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) and Subhrajyoti Mandal, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infrastructure), who felicitated the retired employees and presented them with their Pension Payment Orders (PPOs).

The ADRMs commended the dedication, hard work and vigilance shown by the retiring staff during their years of service. They acknowledged the invaluable contributions made by the employees in ensuring safe and efficient railway operations.

Addressing the gathering, the ADRMs encouraged the retirees to embrace their post-retirement life with positivity, advising them to utilize their time fruitfully and lead a happy and fulfilling life.

The retired Railway employees, according to a release issued by the authorities, are Surendra Kumar Padhi, Senior Coaching Depot Officer at Puri; Basistha Kumar Pradhan, Assistant Commercial Manager; M Ramarao Basudev Sahoo from Commercial Department; R. K. Behera, A. Rama, S. Mohammed; M R Das, B. C. Patnaik from Mechanical Department; M Soren, N Singh, B C Maharana, J Sahoo, R. K. Jani from the Engineering Department; G.B. Rout, P. Patra, G. Sethi, from Electrical Department; N. K. Das, D.P. Roy from the Operating Department; B. K. Jena, Inspector, RPF.

The ceremony concluded with warm wishes and gratitude extended to the retiring employees for their commendable service to the Indian Railways. Pramod Kumar Behera, Divisional Personnel Officer, coordinated the programme and ensured smooth conduct of the event.
