Kristin Cabot, the Chief People Officer at the tech company Astronomer, has officially stepped down from her position. Her resignation comes shortly after a video of her and the company’s now-former CEO, Andy Byron, went viral online.
The clip, caught on the kiss cam during a Coldplay concert, triggered major backlash and led to a chain of resignations.

The incident happened during Coldplay’s concert on July 16 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. A camera focused on a couple in the crowd, believed to be Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, showing them in what seemed to be an intimate moment.
As soon as they realized they were on the big screen, the two appeared to try and hide. But by then, it was too late.
The moment even caught the attention of Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, who joked on stage, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
He then made a light comment to the crowd: “We’re going to put some of you on the screen, so if you haven’t done your makeup, do it now.”
Following the uproar, Andy Byron resigned as CEO earlier this month. Astronomer’s Board of Directors confirmed that they had launched an internal review into the incident. In a public statement, the company said, “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”
Now, Kristin Cabot has also submitted her resignation. According to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, she is no longer connected with the company.
Astronomer, a data infrastructure firm, has emphasized that it remains committed to its core values. The company is moving ahead with efforts to reinforce workplace ethics and leadership accountability.
