‘War 2’ trailer out: Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, Kiara Advani set the screen on fire

The trailer for ‘War 2’, the much-awaited action thriller from Yash Raj Films, is finally out, and it packs a punch. The film stars Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, Telugu megastar Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in leading roles.

The original ‘War’, which released in 2019 and starred Hrithik alongside Tiger Shroff, was a massive box-office success. Now, fans are excited to see what the sequel brings, especially with Jr NTR joining the franchise and Ayan Mukerji stepping in as director.

The trailer runs for two minutes and thirty-five seconds and opens with Hrithik’s voiceover. His character talks about becoming a “nameless, faceless shadow” who has sacrificed everything to protect the country.

Then comes Jr NTR, delivering his own powerful monologue. His character speaks of taking on battles that no one else dares to fight, reflecting deep national pride and duty. He looks fierce and physically impressive, showing off his well-built frame in some intense fight sequences.

Kiara Advani, too, makes a strong impact. She is sharing romantic moments with Hrithik’s character in one scene and fighting him the next, literally headbutting him. Her role seems to blend beauty, mystery, and strength.

At the heart of the film is a clash between two powerful soldiers, Hrithik and Jr NTR, each with a different view of what it means to serve the nation.

This ideological conflict fuels the drama, and their confrontation is expected to be a major highlight of the film.

The action scenes look massive in scale. There are glimpses of stunts on top of a moving train, intense shootouts, and even a fight between Hrithik and Jr NTR in a frozen ice cave.

‘War 2’ is going to hit theatres on August 14, 2025, just ahead of India’s Independence Day, making its patriotic theme even more timely.

The film is expecting to follow the success of its predecessor, which earned over ₹200 crore in its first week alone back in 2019.
