Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has written to Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that there was a scam of around Rs 14.5 crore with regard to the purchase of vehicles for Sadak Suraksha Force in Punjab, where no bulk discount was availed.
Taking to social media platform X, Sirsa shared that he has written to Kejriwal seeking answers about the Rs 10 lakh discount per vehicle being allegedly wasted, causing a loss of Rs 14.5 crore to Punjab’s exchequer, the state which is governed by AAP- AAP-led dispensation.

Sirsa has expressed hope that the AAP chief will act responsibly over the issue.
Sirsa has claimed that even individual customers are offered a discount of Rs 10 lakh per vehicle, the same that was purchased for the SSF in Punjab—a total of 144 units.
Sirsa wrote, ”Even individual customers get this discount…I also got it; sharing the invoice as proof! Why was this basic negotiation skipped? Who is benefiting from this massive loot? This blatant corruption happened under Kejriwal Ji’s watch and he must ask CM Bhagwant Mann to order a transparent & time-bound enquiry.”
The minister has stated that the AAP chief should stop shirking his responsibility and must come clean on this matter.
Sirsa, in his communication to Kejriwal, mentioned that, “It is with a brooding sense of irony that I write to you, national convener of a party born out of the biggest anti-corruption movement that India has ever seen, about yet another glaring case of corruption under yet another government formed by your party.”
He said that, being the national convenor of AAP, under whose leadership the Punjab government operates, the moral and political responsibility lies squarely with Kejriwal to take relevant action in this regard.
Sirsa also mentioned that in case there is no appropriate action taken in this matter now and in the future, and the issue reaches central agencies, the AAP will likely term it a political vendetta.
