Ram Charan, one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars, took a break from his packed film schedule to celebrate a special day at home, and on Sunday, the actor shared a warm birthday post for his wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela.
Posting on Instagram, Ram Charan uploaded a sweet photo with Upasana and captioned it, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful person!! @upasanakaminenikonidela. God bless you!”

While Ram Charan is enjoying these special personal milestones, his professional calendar is just as exciting. The actor is gearing up for his next big film, ‘Peddi’, which is already generating massive buzz.
The film, directed by ‘Uppena’ fame Buchi Babu Sana, is set for a worldwide release on March 27, 2026.
Recently, the makers dropped a new poster to celebrate Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar’s birthday, who also stars in ‘Peddi’. The production house, Vriddhi Cinemas, shared the poster on their X (formerly Twitter) handle, adding, “Team #Peddi wishes the ‘Karunada Chakravarthy’ @NimmaShivanna Garu a very Happy Birthday. ‘GOURNAIDU’ will be regal and explosive on the big screens.”
The ensemble cast of ‘Peddi’ includes Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and ‘Mirzapur’ actor Divyenndu, who has a key role in the film. Earlier this year, during the festival of Ram Navami, the team unveiled a teaser called ‘Peddi First Shot’, which immediately caught fans’ attention.
In the teaser, Ram Charan appears in a rugged avatar, casually lighting a beedi and walking through a dusty landscape as people cheer for him. He delivers a punchy line: “I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it.”
The film marks a collaboration between some of the industry’s heavyweights. It is the production of Sukumar’s banner, Sukumar Writings, and will feature music composed by none other than AR Rahman.
Before starting work on ‘Peddi’, Ram Charan wrapped up ‘Game Changer’, directed by the celebrated filmmaker S Shankar. That film starred Kiara Advani in the lead opposite Charan and is also ready for a major release.
