Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Sunday described his week-long official visit to Dubai and Spain from 13 to 19 July as the most successful foreign tour to date, saying it has given fresh momentum to Madhya Pradesh’s international engagements.
According to state government officials, the Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing media persons at New Delhi International Airport upon his return from the trip.

Dr Yadav credited the success of the visit to the visionary leadership and capable guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He said there is immense investment potential across various sectors in Madhya Pradesh, and the visit to Dubai and Spain has opened promising avenues for creating employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
Dr Yadav informed that several agreements were signed with international companies during the tour, focusing on investment and knowledge sharing in key sectors.
He further noted that earlier initiatives such as the Regional Industrial Conclave and the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal had already attracted investment proposals worth over ₹30.77 lakh crore, many of which are now progressing towards implementation.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the foreign tour revealed vast opportunities for investment in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, mining, industry, and tourism, which will not only generate employment but also accelerate industrial development in the state. He affirmed that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a model investment destination.
However, the Chief Minister did not provide specific figures on the actual investment secured for Madhya Pradesh during the Dubai and Spain visit.
