Bad weather forces Rahul to cancel Almora rally, return to Delhi
Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's Almora rally was cancelled on Thursday owing to bad weather conditions in the Kumaon region.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi Friday expressed his commitment to safeguarding democracy in Bihar amidst allegations of attempts to “steal elections” through the Special Intensive Revision process being carried out by the Election Commission.
In a statement shared on handle X, Gandhi said, “Pyaare saathiyon, Bihaar mein SIR ke jarie chunaav choree kee koshishon ke maddenajar, main mahaagathabandhan ke netaon ke saath milakar lokatantra kee raksha kee ladaee ka sankalp doharaata hoon (Dear comrades, in view of attempts to steal elections through SIR in Bihar, I reiterate the resolve to fight for protecting democracy alongside leaders of the Mahagathbandhan).”

Raising concerns over alleged attempts to manipulate elections in Bihar, Gandhi also alleged that the Odisha government was being run by (Businessman Gautam)Adani and big business tycoons.

Gandhi also expressed worries over rising debt and farmer suicides in Maharashtra without adequate support.
