Jharkhand Government seeks Dhoni’s support for sports and tourism promotion

Former Indian cricket captain and Jharkhand’s pride, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, met with Jharkhand Tourism, Art-Culture and Sports Minister Sudivya Kumar on Saturday to discuss collaboration in boosting sports infrastructure and tourism potential in the state.

The meeting, which took place in Ranchi, was described as “positive and constructive.” According to officials, the state government is seeking Dhoni’s guidance and support in building a roadmap to elevate Jharkhand’s profile in both sporting excellence and tourism development.

“We are confident that Dhoni’s experience and commitment will play a pivotal role in taking Jharkhand to new heights in sports and tourism,” the minister said after the meeting.

The state government has identified sports and eco-tourism as key focus areas under its long-term development plan. Officials hope that Dhoni, who enjoys national and international recognition, will act as a mentor and brand ambassador for upcoming initiatives.
