A resident of ward three Sahadeb Sarkar in Chinusrah who was bedridden with a broken spinal cord got a prompt attention from Didi Ke Bolo initiative of the government. The local MLA Asit Mazumdar today visited the residence of the victim and initiated steps for medical treatment of the victim, a job for their son and financial support.
Jayabati Debi the wife of Sahadeb Sarkar said, My husband received serious spinal injury in the year 2011 while carrying rice bags on his back, thereafter his lower portion got paralyzed. I ran from post to pillar for support and help in every administrative departments but all in vain, my son who was then a student of 12th standard had to stop his studies due to utter poverty, my husband with much hope rang to Didi Ke Bolo helpline number, we waited for some positive response.”

Today Ashit Majumdar MLA Chinsurah rushed to the house of the bedridden victim, assured of prompt medical treatment, a temporary job to their son in the municipality and financial help. Sahadeb Sarkar the victim thanked chief minister Mamata Banerjee with folded hands from his bed for her great initiative taken to help the hopeless and helpless people.
