Allu Arjun, Jackie Shroff call for a green, plastics-free planet on Earth Day
Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff observed the Earth Day on Monday.
Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho has created immense excitement among fans, especially after the high-tech action thriller’s teaser was released some time ago.
The ambitious drama is in the last leg of the shoot. The final schedule of the film is being shot in Innsbruck, Tirol in Austria. Shradhha Kapoor shared pictures from the location on her social media handle.
In her post, she wrote, ” Up above the world so high #SAAHO #EuropeSched @shraddha.naik”.

Earlier, the film’s teaser created a record for having 60 million views in just one day after its launch. In the high octane action thriller, Prabhas will be seen as a larger than life hero-cop battling AI, doing fast-paced bike chases and gunfights.
Mounted on a budget of Rs. 300 crores, the film uses high quality VFX and looks nothing like the conventional car-flying action thrillers of Bollywood.
Transformers fame action director, Kenny Bates was also roped in to supervise the major action sequences of the film.
The filming officially began in 2017 and has since then been on a run.
Neil Nitin Mukesh will play the prime antagonist in the film while Jackie Shroff and Chunkey Pandey will be seen in supporting roles. Apart from them, Saaho has a large ensemble cast of seasoned actors that include Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Evelyn Sharma, Aditya Srivastava among others.
Apparently, Prabhas had been prepping for the film ever since the release of the super hit Baahubali series. His training programme included cardiovascular training, weight training and plyometric obstacle races.On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor too performed some major action sequences on her own.
Shraddha plays a strong character in the film while Prabhas’ chracter is layered, a more grey-shaded fictitious kind. Shraddha will also be making her Telugu debut Saaho.
Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is slated for an Independence Day release-15 August 2019. The film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
