According to reports, the two injured CRPF men are from the 29 Battalion.
Greater Kashmir reports that the men sustained bullet injuries, one in his hand and another in his leg.
The IG CRPF has ordered a departmental inquiry to find out the reason that led to the incident.
The injured are hospitalised and are reportedly out of danger.
In November last year, a CRPF jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with the service rifle of a colleague in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur district.
In September, a CRPF jawan allegedly committed suicide in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district. In the same month, another jawan allegedly killed himself at the Jaimati Pathar camp in Sonitpur district of Assam after firing from his INSAS rifle inside the camp under Tezpur police station.
