3 labourers killed as bridge collapses in Jammu; 2 engineers suspended
Three labourers were killed and one seriously injured here after they were buried under the debris of an old bridge where they were constructing a retaining wall.
Several persons are still feared trapped under the debris while rescue teams are working at the spot, the police said.

Four children and a woman died after a three-storey building collapsed at Bharat Nagar, Sawan Park in Delhi’s Ashok Vihar Phase 3 on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 am.

A total of eight people were rescued and sent to a hospital out of which three are stated to be in a critical condition. Search and rescue operation are underway, reports ANI.

A call about the incident was received at 9:25 am and six fire tenders were rushed to the spot, an officer was quoted as saying by PTI.
The Delhi Fire Service said nine people have reportedly been injured and were rushed to a hospital.
Two teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been mobilised for rescue operations, said NDRF in a tweet.
