An Air Force officer Group Captain Arun Marwaha was arrested on Thursday by the Delhi police on charges of sharing details of secret Indian Air Force documents with Pakistani spy agency ISI.
According to media reports, an FIR has been filed under the relevant sections of Officials Secrets Act. The official has now been sent to five days’ custody.
The 51-year-old accused allegedly used a smartphone to click pictures of classified documents pertaining to combat exercises at the IAF headquarters and then used mobile application WhatsApp to pass on the information.

It is being told that the accused was honey-trapped online by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) as the operative pretended to be a woman and came in touch with the IAF official through Facebook in December.
He was initially detained on January 31 by the Indian Air Force for investigation after his activities were found suspicious.
