Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has condemned the killing of Lt. Umar Fayaz, the young Kashmiri Army officer from Kulgam, who was found dead on Wednesday in Shopian.
The Chief Minister said what was more painful to note is that the young officer had come home on vacation where he was attending the marriage of his cousin.

Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed her heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family of Lt. Umar and prayed for his eternal solace.
