Mehbooba expressed anguish on killing of boy during encounter

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep anguish and grief over the killing of a 15-year-old Aamir Nazir during an encounter in Padgampora village of Pulwama district on Thursday.

Extending her sympathies to the bereaved, the Chief Minister said it was highly unfortunate that youth are caught in the vicious cycle of violence in the state which has consumed so many precious lives and left behind a trail of death and destruction.

It is worth mentioning that the boy got killed when the police opened fire to disperse a mob that was pelting stones at security forces that were engaged an encounter with terrorists.
