Heralding the tourism season, the first chartered flight from Moscow to Goa is scheduled to arrive at the state’s Dabolim airport on Sunday. The flight would be carrying around 300 passengers, according to the Airport Authority of India.

The chartered flight season, beginning in October, will continue till May end. Goa, which is a popular foreign tourist destination, attracted 988 chartered flights during the previous tourist season. The flights brought 2.32 lakh tourists from many countries, including the UK and Russia.
As the tourist season spans over eight-long months, travellers still have time to plan a visit to Goa and enjoy a colourful and joyful travel time at several beauty spots in this idyllic holiday destination.
