In two separate incidents, minor girls were reportedly raped in Bulandshahr and Pilakhuwa of Hapur district in the last three days. Cases have been registered and police are on the lookout for the accused.
A 10-year-old girl was intoxicated and allegedly raped in a locality of Nagar Kotwali in Bulandshahar district on Saturday.
SP (City) of Bulandahahar Dr Praveen Ranjan said a case has been registered against the unidentified accused and girl has been sent for medical examination. He said that the investigation has been started and the accused would be identified soon. He said the victim girl was kept in confinement somewhere in her neighbourhood.
The girl was reported missing when she was playing outside her home on Saturday evening. Late in the night, she was found near her house. The family members said that she was under the influence of some drug.
She told her parents that a person unknown to her came near her and intoxicated her pretending to clean dirt from her face when she was playing outside her house. Later she found herself in a room from where she managed to escape.
In Pilakhuwa town of Hapur district, a 14-year old girl was raped allegedly by a village boy on Sunday. The girl belongs to the Hawal village of Pilakhuwa .
As per reports, the girl went to a nearby market when two boys approached her while another was sitting in the car. One of the boys, who was from the same village, said that they would drop her in the village. But instead they took her to the nearby Peparhera village, where the boy raped her.
Meanwhile, when she did not return, the family approached the police. During its investigation, the police came to know that a village boy was also missing and the probe took the cops to Peparhera from where the girl was rescued.
Circle Officer Pawan Verma said that a case has been registered against two youths and raids were on to arrest them. The girl’s medical examination has been done and the report is being awaited.
