Xiaomi India launched the Mi A1 Android One smartphone with dual-rear cameras in September at Rs. 14,999.
Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition Red colour variant has been launched by the company in India. Xiaomi has permanently reduced the price of Xiaomi Mi A1 by Rs. 1000 in India, and as a result the new permanent price for the smartphone is Rs. 13,999.
It launched the Mi A1 Android One smartphone with dual-rear cameras in September at Rs. 14,999. Earlier this month, Xiaomi made a temporary Rs. 2000 price cut for the phone on Flipkart during its Big Shopping Days sale between December 5 and 7.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 offers pure Android experience with Google’s ‘Android One’. It has 12MP dual-rear camera setup, one with a wide-angle lens and other with a telephoto lens, similar to iPhone.

The Mi A1 boasts of a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080p) 2.5D curved glass display. It has a uni-body metal design similar to OnePlus 5, although the fingerprint sensor is at the back panel. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, just like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. It is backed by 4GB of RAM and incorporates 64GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi A1: Full Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition Red colour variant at Rs. 13,999 will be available in limited numbers from December 20, via Flipkart and Mi.com.
It will also available be available all Mi Home stores, Mi Preferred Partner stores, and retail partner stores. Other than Red, the smartphone also comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
