Intel appoints Santhosh Viswanathan as India region head
Chip maker Intel on Friday said that it appointed Santhosh Viswanathan to head the India region business as its Managing Director (MD).
Digital entertainment product manufacturer Creative Technology on Thursday launched the Creative Muvo 1c and Creative Chrono Bluetooth speaker in India.
The palm-sized Creative Muvo 1c features a passive radiator and full-range speaker drivers for enhanced bass, the company said in a statement. The Bluetooth speaker also comes with IP66 rating and offers splash and dust resistance. It can be wirelessly connected to a second speaker for a wider and better listening experience, the company claimed.
The “Muvo 1c” also doubles up as a speakerphone when the user connects it to a smartphone. There is an option to toggle between their music playlist and incoming calls.

The speaker can be also connected with company’s custom “Sound Blaster Connect” app for iOS and Android devices that lets the users view, browse and play songs.
About Creative Chrono, it features an LED digital clock display that comes with customisable alarm functionality. It has a built-in FM tuner with up to 50 station presets and includes a microSD card slot that supports MP3, FLAC, and WAV. The Chrono speaker works with the Sound Blaster Connect app and can be used as a speakerphone.
The Creative Muvo 1c will be available at Rs. 3,499, whereas the Creative Chrono Bluetooth speaker comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,999.
