Coochbehar recorded a voter turnout of 92.07 per cent, Alipurduar 88.74 per cent, Jalpaiguri 91.2 per cent, Kalimpong 81.98 per cent, Darjeeling 86.49 per cent, Uttar Dinajpur 89.74 per cent, and Dakshin Dinajpur 93.12 per cent.
As per the 3 pm data released by the Election Commission, Dakshin Dinajpur recorded the highest turnout at 81.49 per cent, followed by Paschim Medinipur at 81.07 per cent, Jhargram at 81.04 per cent, and Birbhum at 80.22 per cent.
In Tamil Nadu, Tiruppur district recorded the highest turnout of 42.45 per cent, followed by Namakkal at 41.41 per cent, and Erode at 41.00 per cent. In Bengal, West Medinipur recorded the highest voter turnout at 44.69 per cent, followed by Jhargram at 43.71 per cent, and Bankura at 43.22 per cent.
