Union Minister Puri announces natural gas presence in Andaman, says ‘discovery to boost India’s energy security’
He shared on a social media post that natural gas has been discovered in the Sri Vijayapuram-2 well, located 9.20 nautical miles (17 km) off the east coast of the Andaman Islands, at a water depth of 295 meters and a target depth of 2,650 meters.
