Tea Board issues SOP for gardens in view of Covid-19

In order to take effective measures at the community level, the TBI has suggested that primary contacts or family members of a person who is undergoing treatment for Covid-19 will not be engaged for any field operations under any circumstances.

TAI slams Tea Board over non-payment of subsidy

Addressing the 49th Annual General Meeting of the TAI here today, Mr Bansal said: “The non-disbursal of the accumulated subsidy amount for the 11th and 12th Plan period has seriously compromised the Tea Board’s role of acting as a developmental agency, a position that needs to be urgently rectified.”
