In a tragic accident , a 10-year old girl was killed and several other children were injured when their school van collided with a truck in Kankarkheda police station area here on Thursday.

Eight children were taken out safely by people working in nearby fields, police said.

The accident happened near Kanhaiya Nagar Metro station in north Delhi when the van was on its way to a school located in northwest Delhi's Keshav Puram.
