Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said Pakistan would continue efforts to facilitate engagement between Iran and the United States, expressing hope that dialogue would eventually lead to lasting peace.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that India had targeted the Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi’s Chakala area, causing damage to the military facility and injuring personnel stationed there.
The minister, however, said it was not right to link TRF to the Lashkar-e-Taiba, claiming the outfit was dismantled by Pakistan years ago.
