Rajasthan seeks share of surplus Ravi water from Makoura barrage and Pong dam

Addressing the 32nd meeting of the North Zone Council in Surajkund, Faridabad, CM Sharma also urged the Centre to ensure the development of a digital elevation model to assess the additional flow of Sutlej–Beas waters into the Pong Dam downstream, following the increase in the reservoir’s gauge (capacity) from 1000 ft to 1400 ft.
