Delhi man’s suicide after alleged police torture prompts NHRC action

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Friday took suo motu cognizance of a media report stating that a man died by suicide on July 11, 2025, allegedly following physical torture by police at the Dwarka North Police Station in Delhi.
