People who travelled to Delhi from UK in the past 10 days are being traced, tested and advised quarantine, says health minister; adds the city's 'success' over Covid 3rd wave must be maintained
The new SOPs have been issued as new mutant variant of the coronavirus was detected and the Ministry of Health said that the virus is estimated by the European Center for Disease Control (ECDC) to be more transmissible and affecting younger population.
'As a measure of abundant precaution, passengers arriving from UK in all transit flights should be subject to mandatory RT-PCR test on arrival at airports,' Ministry of Civil Aviation said.
