ICG launches full-scale operation after MV MSC ELSA 3 oil spill

The Indian Coast Guard launched a full-scale pollution response operation to tackle the oil slick following the sinking of the Liberian container vessel MV MSC ELSA 3. The vessel went down approximately 15 nautical miles southwest of Alappuzha, Kerala, on Sunday.
