Odisha minister reviews unban infra projects for improved quality of life of urban residents

Minister of Housing and Urban Development Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, who chaired the review meeting on Thursday, laid emphasis on effective implementation of urban infrastructure schemes stating that it will strengthen urban infrastructure, improve basic civic amenities and enhance the quality of life of urban residents across the State.

The state Cabinet has decided to introduce the three Bills pertain to Municipal Administration, Panchayat and Education Departments again as the governor “will have no role” after the state Assembly passed the Bills a second time.
