Presiding over a special meeting of the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) on Sunday, the Chief Minister obtained information from all bank representatives regarding their CD ratios and emphasised the need for concrete efforts to increase the ratio.
The Survey noted that the recovery rate in NPAs of Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) rose from 13.2 per cent in FY18 to 26.2 per cent in FY25.
The latest cuts come after RBI, last week, had reduced repo rate by 40 basis points to 4 per cent from 4.40 per cent.
